We'll be hiking back in the Sandia Mountains this month at Sulphur Canyon Picnic area. This is the first picnic area on the Sandia Crest RD (NM 536). We can hike to Cienega Picnic Grounds and back. There may be snow on the ground so dress accordingly. Folks who wish to carpool should meet at the Smith's Groceries at the corner of Central and Tramway NE at 10:00 AM.
