HUMANIST SPEAKER SERIES: Hope Curtis

  • Saturday, March 28, 2026
  • 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
  • Albuquerque Museum

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC:

The Fractal Foundation's outreach educator Hope Curtis will guide our journey through the mesmerizing world of fractals. Learn about the humans who have pioneered this fascinating branch of mathematics, and how all human life dances along the boundary of order and chaos. Hope will share how her own encounters with infinity have shaped her passion for creative chaos, algebraic art and turbulent timelines! We’ll participate in hands-on fractivities and witness brand-new fractal zooms.

The Fractal Foundation has shared the joy of infinity with countless humans across the globe, inspiring an appreciation for math and science with beautiful hot air balloons, record-breaking planetarium shows, interactive workshops and more! Establishing Albuquerque as the Fractal Capital of the World with the help of fractal fans and ambassadors throughout the city, the Fractal Foundation challenges individuals to recognize their own infinite potential and to appreciate how even seemingly small changes can ripple out to make the world a better place.
