President's Message (December 2025) cont. And I’m grateful for everyone of you who took the risk to join a group of strangers, and I hope that you are finding, as I have, that they have become friends. I think it's safe to say that we are living through a time of transformation, with all the pain and uncertainty that entails. In the midst of the turmoil, I am glad to know that I have you all to share in my struggles and triumphs and just daily living, and that I can be there for you. I’ll close with a reminder that for some of us, this season can be a difficult and painful time. As you celebrate your holidays, remember that one of our ten Humanist Commitments is Empathy, and to look out for anyone who might need a hand, or just someone to listen. And if you're the one who needs a hand or an ear, please reach out. Thank you!
